It is a highly flexible and widgetized theme, flat take advantage of all WordPress features such as post-formats, page templates, custom widgets, shortcodes, including important features specifically designed for it.
Widgets are really where it’s at, they allow you to create tons of functionality without having to hard code anything into your theme. I love the fact that widgets are so heavily involved in the look, the features and the style of this WordPress theme.
I’ve checked in with the developer and they’re still actively supporting Mug, so you can rest assured that if you run into issues, they can be solved with little problem and no complaints from the developer. So, that’s what I have to say about Mug. What do you think, is it a theme you’re considering?
Kickstart is a solid app sales page based on the Genesis Framework. It’s got a beautiful flat design and tons of outstanding features.
Looking for a great theme for your app startup company? Why not give Kickstart a try? This lovely little software and applications showcase theme has a tone of features from live customizer to custom headers, multiple widget areas and custom page templates. It’s also mobile friendly, so it looks fantastic on all devices and all browsers. Kickstart was made to be a fully functioning WordPress app landing page and informational theme. It’s good at what it does too.
The Genesis Framework has been around for a few years now and it’s better than ever. With Genesis, you get the solid coding, fast loading times and tons of features you’d expect from a truly premium theme framework.
I love the front page, the information is all right there, the contact form takes center stage and I think it’s going to be a breeze to customize this theme to look exactly how you want it to look. That’s the power of a simple, straightforward, flat design.
Several page templates are included. The blog page is a stunner, beautifully crafted with great typography. There’s an archive page, landing page, columns page, contact page and even a pricing table page. That’s a lot of custom pages and you can always create more, if you’d like to. All with that same modern, flat design that I personally like.
More features include the optional slider called Genesis Responsive Slider, though you can opt to use a simple, single image for great impact too. There’s an intuitive color picker if you decide that you don’t want to stick with the reddish orange color of the demo site. The blog featured section lets you highlight a single category of blog posts or you can enable the ‘top blog’ widget, to effectively sticky a post at the top of your blog. Rebel rebel, you tore your dress. Rebel rebel, your face is a mess!
I’ll tell you what isn’t a mess, the clean and flat style of the Rebel WordPress theme. This theme is all business, despite claiming that it has a rebellious nature, it’s really pretty squared away and organized. It’s not minimalist, but it is corporate in style. It sort of reminds me of this theme.
Based on Bootstrap, boasting a slick drag and drop page builder, full responsiveness, WooCommerce eCommerce shopping system, an ultra clean design and many more great features, I think it’s safe to say Rebel doesn’t live up to it’s name. Shouldn’t a rebel be a terrible jerk, always going against the norms and mores of society?
If You’re looking for theme that can be used for any kind of business site, is easy to use with it’s functional drag & drop page builder and comes with some awesome features – You’re in a good place. Rebel was built on Bootstrap 3, most powerful front-end framework out there, and is fully responsive – looks and works good on tablets and mobile phones. There are over 30 custom Visual Composer blocks built only for this theme. Theme is fully flexible which means all shortcodes/features can be used on pages, posts, custom post pages or widgets. Rebel is also fully compatible and was tested with WPML and qTranslate plugins that can help You with translations.
That all sounds find and dandy, but what about the reviews? How about a 4.94 overall rating on over 400 sales? Sounds pretty solid, right?
Then again, it’s a Visual Composer theme, so it could be a bit laggy in the back end and bloated with slow load times in the front end. It’s a sort of catch-22, the design looks great, but is it functional enough to outweigh the issues of slow load times? Based on the reviews, I’d say that it is worth it.
I checked the load time on this one, not too bad at all. Here’s the Pingdom report.
So, I think I can recommend this one after all. Hooray!
